Remember the Corner Store down the street when you were growing up?   It sold a wide variety of products - from food to tyres, tanks to plants... the list was endless!

Established in 2011, the Corner eStore is a joint initiative between the Rural Business Guide and the Palmerston Regional Business Association and brings the old Corner Store into new age technology providing a great opportunity to purchase the wide range of local products - online! The Rural Business Guide Corner eStore sells a variety of products and services on consignment from local businesses.  Most of these products and services can be shipped Australia wide*.

Together, the Rural Business Guide and the Palmerston Regional Business Association also manage the Events Calendar  - a free service promoting events, business launches, AGMs, sporting and community fundraising events happening within the local community. Contact us if you would like your event listed.

The Rural Business Guide has been supporting and advertising local businesses since 2002 through the annual distribution of a high quality printed publication (18,000 copies in fact!) distributed direct to the Palmerston, Rural Area and Katherine communities.  Working with a lot of small to medium sized businesses and trades, as well as being locally owned and operated, the Rural Business Guide is well aware of the limited 'spare' time a business owner has on a daily basis.  Providing the Corner eStore shopping experience only enhances the existing quality service currently provided.

The Palmerston Regional Business Association (PRBA) was established in September, 1998.  A Committee of business people is elected each year at the Annual General Meeting.  Their main aim is to promote and support local business, achieved by using a network of contacts in both business and Government.  The PRBA also acts as a central communications hub allowing businesses to easily support each other, organises and facilitates meetings for members with politicians and Government Officials, and are active lobbyists and raise members concerns with the appropriate authority/s.
